About our Client: Our client is one of the largest MNC banks in the world known for its aggressive and progressive approach. They service retail, consumer, and investment banking clients and have been successful in expanding their services in the sub-continent. They have a large presence in India and are currently looking to expand their consumer banking operations. They are thus looking for a Site HR Leader to lead 2000+ employees based in Chennai.
Job Description:
- Reporting into the overall Head of HR and managing a team of 3, your responsibilities will include:
- As an effective business partner, work closely with the business heads and their management teams to understand, anticipate and provide solutions on people matters
- Play an important role in attracting the - right' talent internally from other businesses/countries and externally.
- Develop market intelligence to strategically advice business managers
- Partner with business to identify and retain key talent
- On-going engagement with the client population to ensure effective HR support and coverage
- Develop and implement appropriate communication processes and interventions on an on-going basis
- Talent Development & Deployment: Facilitate in identifying, nurturing and deploying talent effectively
- Partner with the OD and L&D team to build people capability
- Work proactively with businesses in people development, performance management, retention, succession planning and employee satisfaction to ensure success of business initiatives
- Influence compensation and benefits strategy and policy; ensure it is appropriately implemented across the business
- Partner with compensation specialist team to lead an efficient and coordinated annual year-end compensation process for the business
- Maintain an integrated working relationship with Regional and Global HR and Business Management teams Partner with recruitment specialist & RPO partners to support site build out.
The Successful Candidate:
- You will come with 12-15 years of work experience as an HR Generalist from an MNC Bank having managed at least 2000 employees.
- Exposure to working in a matrix organization and working with senior business stakeholders will be required. MBA from a Tier 1 institute is highly preferred.
