Our Client is a Leading Player in the Oil & Gas Sector. For their five million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) LNG import and regasification facility we urgently need - Site - Contracting & Procurement Head To manage all contracting & procurement activities for the Project. Design, implement and monitor effective Contracting & Procurement Policies for Capital project & plant operation Candidate:- Professionally qualified Mechanical Engineer with at least 10-15 years of working in the materials management function of a company and some experience in the Oil & Gas Industry Key Accountabilities - All Contracting & Procurement related to projects material and services required for RFSU and continuous operations - Ensure readiness SAP MM for procurement - Carry out Major Purchases & Contracts for Terminal O&M - Lead and partner with multiple business stakeholders (Legal, Commercial, Finance, O&M) - Tender Board secretary for liaising with JV partners - To be responsible for the procurement of spares and services in maintaining an inventory of all identified stock items for the timely maintenance and reliable operation of terminal - Manage stakeholder expectations in terms of quality, delivery, and most importantly cost with due diligence to all compliance requirements. - Support the In-house project team in finalizing the Overall project strategy, capital negotiations in achieving the Project Goals and targets - Develop new vendors and maintain reliable vendor lists to supply stock items of consistent quality and specifications. - Teamwork with engineers to continuously update Item Master List to keep it live and with correct / updated specifications.
