Alfaris group is one of the prominent emerging business based in Saudi Arabia and growing to reach the international level.
The group business portfolio built on a well-diversified strategic business unit that includes FRAC (AL Faris rent a car) which is a well-known name in the car rental industry.
- The group is looking for a Chief Accountant to oversee the financial accounting function at Alfaris Auto head office.
- His core responsibilities are to directs and organizes all general accounting activities and accounting staff, prepares accounting and financial reports and ensures accurate accounting systems and record keeping, ensuring the external and internal audit requirements are met, delegating the various recurring and non-recurring tasks to the FRAC accounting team, and taking ownership of the receivables and payables.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Policies & Procedures Approved financial accounting policies and procedures Operations A.
- Existing Business Preparation and verification of financial statements of the company.
- Monitoring and timely submission of audited financial statements Monthly preparation of actual financial performance and comparison with budgeted figures and analysis of variances if any (BVR monthly submission on or before 15th of the subsequent month) Assist the Group Accounting Manager & Financial controller in preparation of a business plan (including expansion plans) and budget preparation.
- Analysis of existing operating and financial control system and its effectiveness and report recommended adjustments to Group Accounting Manager & Financial controller.
- Monitoring, supporting, and assisting the Operation team of car rental companies to achieve the business objectives more effectively.
- Analyzing the cost structure and find out the ways to reduce the cost.
- Verification of payment vouchers and all other.
NEW PROJECTS/BRANCHES/DIVISION :
- Assist the Group CFO with Special Projects such as providing the needed inputs to Group Accounting Manager & Financial controller that helps them in the preparation of the financial aspects of new business opportunities.
- This would include preparing a business case that would assess the risks, rewards and financing strategies for key opportunities.
- Assist the Group CFO providing the needed inputs to Group Accounting Manager & Financial controller that helps them in preparation of project reports, feasibility study, financial plans, time schedule and action plan.
- Any other reasonable tasks, as instructed by In-Charge / Manager/s.
- People Management FRAC accountants Reports Monthly cash sales Monthly debit sales AP/AR reconciliation and relevant monthly reports Bank reconciliation.
- Insurance claims update.
- TB monthly update.
