Vyapar App is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Manager / Senior Manager - Learning & Development to lead and oversee all training initiatives across the organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance product knowledge, behavioural skills, and organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in training management, leadership development, and team building.
As a key member of the HR and Learning & Development team, you will lead a team of training professionals to drive impactful learning experiences, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Training Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy for the organization.
- Identify training needs across various departments in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and improve them continuously.
2. Product Training:
- Design and implement product-specific training programs to ensure teams are equipped with in-depth knowledge of Vyapar App's features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to stay updated on new features and updates for seamless knowledge transfer.
3. Behavioural and Leadership Training:
- Develop and manage behavioural and leadership training programs to enhance interpersonal skills, communication, and team collaboration.
- Create leadership development initiatives to prepare high-potential employees for future roles.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, ensuring their growth and development.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide guidance to the training team to meet organizational goals.
5. Training Program Execution:
- Oversee the design and delivery of workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and other training methods.
- Leverage technology to provide scalable and engaging learning solutions.
- Ensure training programs cater to different learning styles and preferences.
6. Performance and Feedback:
- Track and analyse the impact of training initiatives on employee performance and organizational outcomes.
- Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine training programs.
7. Budget and Vendor Management:
- Manage the training budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Liaise with externaltraining vendors, consultants, and partners when required.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Learning & Development (e.g., CPLP, SHRM) is a plus.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in designing and delivering product and behavioural training programs.
Experience in managing and mentoring training teams.
