Job Description:
- Management of entire category life cycle involving customizing category features, packaging, pricing based on global consumer needs , launch, ongoing operations and expansion of category
- Ownership of Top Line and Bottom Line of the category for the online business and P&L Management
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the category
- Driving the complete category strategy & roadmap, category development priorities, and release plans
- Set strategic category direction based on customer and business needs
- Conduct comprehensive industry trend analysis, including market, competitive and pricing trends
- Develop sales enablement tools and train sales team to win in the category
- Drive, manage and track sales productivity initiatives and online marketing campaign for the said category
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA with Overall 5 to 9 years of experience in B2C business with at least 3 years in a product management/ category management roles
- A proven history of growing revenue
- Experience in internet, FMCG, Telecom companies preferred
- Must be highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient
- High energy levels and passion to build world class category
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority
