Position : Category Manager.
Location : Bangalore, India
Job Description :
- Management of entire category life cycle involving customizing category features, packaging, pricing based on global consumer needs, launch, ongoing operations and expansion of category.
- Ownership of Top Line and Bottom Line of the category for the online business and P&L Management.
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the category.
- Driving the complete category strategy & roadmap, category development priorities, and release plans.
- Set strategic category direction based on customer and business needs.
- Conduct comprehensive industry trend analysis, including market, competitive and pricing trends.
- Develop sales enablement tools and train sales team to win in the category.
- Drive, manage and track sales productivity initiatives and online marketing campaign for the said category.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- MBA from a premier institute with overall 1 to 5 years of experience in B2C business with at least 3 years in a product management/ category management roles.
- A proven history of growing revenue.
- Experience in internet, FMCG companies preferred.
- Must be highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient.
- High energy levels and passion to build world class category.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
