Job Description:
Generic:
- Topline and bottom line targets for 100% online learning offerings of Simplilearn
- Understand and analyze needs of online users
- Research markets and competitors
- Identify and launch new product variants and features for the 100% online learning courses
- Help define product vision and future direction for the assigned category
- Contribute on Product Marketing activities for the assigned category
Specific:
- Generate new product ideas, enhancements to existing product and collate requests from both internal and external stakeholders
- Help standardize the product (customer expectations, reports, business model, creative) and work with all the stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Technology, Creative, Content development) to ensure uniformity in value proposition and messaging & to drive timely, seamless and successful rollouts/launches.
- Undertake market research and be an expert with respect to the competition
- Define, track and improve key product metrics and monitor those metrics. Collate and analyze key daily/weekly/monthly data on various features performance and report key findings
- Be the first point of escalation for any product related problems/queries
- Evaluate new product opportunities for Company fit & from an audience and technology perspective
- Analyze internal systems and recommend enhancements to improve productivity
- Responsible for all product specific marketing initiatives (Campaign design, execution, and analysis) with the help of marketing team
- Analyze all revenue potentials for the assigned products and drive the company towards profitability with the right product & processes
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA from a top B-School
- Prior experience of working in an e-commerce company is preferred
- Very strong analytical and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus
- Experience in internet companies preferred
- Passionate about technology and the difference it can make to the world around us
- Quick learner, adaptable to changing business needs
