Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Drive the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including timely collections and payments.
- Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
Cost Management & Control:
- Implement robust cost accounting systems to track and analyze production costs.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to optimize spending.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop the team's capabilities through training and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of Indian GAAP and taxation laws.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
