Job description: Digital and Social Media Manager.

Location: Bangalore.

Department: Branding & Marketing.

You Will:

- The Digital and Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategies that align with our brand's mission and vision.

- This role requires a blend of business acumen, project management skills, and expertise in social media monitoring, metrics, and content creation.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing social media analytics, a deep understanding of the latest social and cultural trends, and the ability to work across different time zones and geographies.

To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To:

Content Planning and Creation:

- Develop and execute comprehensive social media content strategies.

- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, and stories) for various social media platforms with the help of the design team.

Campaign Management:

- Design and monitor digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Content Distribution:

- Schedule and publish content on our social media channels, ensuring consistent posting and timely engagement.

- Utilize content calendar tools to plan and organize content in advance.

Community Engagement:

- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on our social media channels in a timely and professional manner.

- Engage with our audience by participating in relevant conversations, using hashtags, and sharing user-generated content.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Track and analyze social media metrics (e.g, engagement rates, reach, conversions) to measure campaign success.

- Provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting improvements.

- Keeping track of of what the competition and the industry is upto.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with our marketing and communications teams to ensure seamless integration of social media content with other marketing initiatives.

- Collaborate with influencers and content creators to amplify our brand's reach and impact.

Marketing Strategy:

- Build long-term marketing strategies to support overall business objectives in collaboration with the marketing and brand manager.

- Streamline marketing functions to achieve project goals and vision.

- Drive customer growth through performance marketing and CRM/Retention channels.

- Develop and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals.

Digital Channel Optimization:

- Strategize paid digital media mix/channels to ensure high intent new users, measurability, and budget efficiency.

- Build long-term organic/owned media (SEO) growth for key business channels website, app, and stores.

- Maximize the lifetime value of users by encouraging upselling, cross-selling, and other revenue-generating strategies.

- Run the required ads across SM and google search engine.

Martech & Data Science:

- Identify and scale martech and predictive analytics capabilities to improve acquisition, retention.

- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer insights.

Functional Responsibilities:

Business Acumen:

- Build actionable recommendations and ensure deliveries are kept on track, even during stressful events.

Communication Skills:

- High proficiency in written/oral communication and presentation skills.

- Strong relationship skills and experience working with leadership across functions and geographies.

Self-Starter:

- Ability to deliver work and coordinate with parallel teams/capability leads in different time zones/geographies.

Social Media Monitoring:

- Expertise in social media monitoring and metrics across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.) for organic and paid media.

- Familiarity with social listening methodology and tools/software (e.g, Sprinklr).


Trend Identification:

- Expertise in trend identification and tracking, with a passion for the latest social/cultural consumer market trends.

Research and Analysis:

- Exceptional research, writing, and analysis skills, including the ability to quickly and concisely summarize complex issues.

Data Organization:

- Excellent data organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Project Management:

- Highly analytical, motivated, and decisive with excellent project management skills.

- Proven experience in planning and conducting research projects, achieving goals, and objectives.

- You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:.

- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree in relevant fields (Marketing, Communications preferred).

- 4+ years of experience in social media analytics or social media listening is a must.

- Experience with FB, TW, IG, and TikTok business analytics is essential.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective algorithms.

- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer), Google ads, Meta, etc.

- Excellent content creation and editing skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects.

- Knowledge of designing and content writing.
