Job description: Brand Manager.

Location: Bangalore.

Department: Branding and Marketing.

You Will:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our team in the automobile industry.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our brand strategy to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately, grow market share.

- The Brand Manager will play a critical role in shaping the perception of our brand and ensuring its consistency across all channels.

To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To:

Brand Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement long-term strategies to establish and enhance the brand's identity and presence in the market.

- Define the brand's unique value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.

Campaign Management:

- Conceptualize and execute central and thematic brand campaigns.

- Build brand equity via innovative campaigns and projects.

- Strengthen brand positioning, build brand salience, and aspiration.

- Oversee production and on-ground execution of campaigns.

Product Launches:

- Formulate and execute GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy for new launches in the product line.

- Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introductions.

- Create and manage launch timelines, budgets, and promotional plans.

Brand Alliances and Associations:

- Manage brand alliances, associations, and partnerships.

- Create a pipeline of content and ideas with relevant third parties.

- Scout for sponsorship and association opportunities in events, films, shows, sports, and more.

- Collaborate with opinion-makers from industries like automobile, lifestyle, tech, and more on brand-relevant properties, both offline and online.

Market Research and Insights:

- Conduct market research to gather customer insights and identify market trends.

- Identify key business problems and opportunities; draw actionable consumer insights and solutionize.

- Mine through large data sets to identify and predict trends; make more informed business decisions.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

- Monitor and manage brand perception and equity through market research and customer feedback.

- Improve conversion across the brand funnel from the point of awareness to acquisition.

- Analyze brand performance metrics, market share data, and customer feedback.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Collaboration and Leadership:

- Work closely with sales, product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure brand alignment.

- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Liaison with Creative, Research, PR, Media, Event, Program, Product, and Sales teams.

Sales and Demand Generation:

- Drive demand month on month for the product line as per business goals.

- Monthly business planning (Volume, Enquiries); Marketing support for sales and dealership teams.

- Provide assistance to sales training on product pitch basis evolving business scenario.

- You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in the automobile industry.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing brand strategies.

- Strong understanding of marketing principles, market research, and consumer behavior.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong problem-solving capabilities.

- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and analytics tools.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

- Passion for the automobile industry and a deep understanding of automotive trends and technologies.

- Ability to travel as needed to support marketing initiatives and attend industry events.

- Knowledge of designing and content writing.
