We are recruiting for our client who represents and distributes for some of the world's leading mining and industrial minerals companies, foremost among them, Rio Tinto Minerals, Ferroglobe and Alteo. With its head office in Mumbai, it operates across India with regional stock points to serve the customer at close proximity. They serve customers across a number of segments, be it glass, ceramics, agriculture, refractory, construction, fertilizers and many others.
We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Commercial Manager with expertise in concrete technology, specifically high-performance concrete. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, offering technical solutions while building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise & Support
Use knowledge of concrete mix design, particularly high-performance concrete, to support customers and resolve technical challenges.
Provide tailored solutions and technical consultations to project engineers, clients, and contractors.
Execute concrete mix designs using silica fume and other high-performing materials.
Address and resolve customer complaints swiftly, ensuring complete satisfaction and product quality.
2. Sales & Business Development
Achieve or exceed defined sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and market share expansion.
Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and generating leads independently.
Drive business development efforts in the concrete sector, focusing on both urban and infrastructure projects.
3. Stakeholder Networking & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including architects, builders, contractors, RMC companies, and materials testing labs.
Cultivate partnerships with government agencies and industry influencers to expand business opportunities.
Provide market insights and intelligence to guide business strategy and enhance client engagement.
4. Travel & Field Support
Willingness to travel across India, including remote and rural areas, to support customer needs and drive business.
Assist customers on-site for project support, troubleshooting, and technical advise..
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
8-12 years of experience working with construction materials, including Microsilica, Ultrafine Fly Ash, GGBS,Admixtures and Concrete.
Expertise in concrete mix design and practical experience with high-performance concrete applications.
A proven track record of sales and business development in the construction materials or related industries.
Strong networking skills and an established presence within the construction industry.
