About the role :
- In this role, you will apply structured problem-solving skills to co-develop strategies and lead cross-functional initiatives that drive value across the organization. Key projects will focus primarily on growth, innovation, new business models that will enable GTM in new geographies.
- This will be a senior leadership role and will work closely with senior leaders across the organization, during both strategy definition, as well as execution to take our products internationally. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding commercial acumen, refined communication skills, and comfortable with the ambiguity of a high-growth company.
- You should have complete market, industry, and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and develop teams in the geography's we venture into.
What you will do :
- You will be responsible for taking our products to market internationally. This will involve product promotion in different geographies, creating pricing strategies, finding the right distribution channels, etc.
- Responsible for setting up applicable team from scratch in all geographies that we venture into.
- Drive alignment around the strategic plan, including Global Business Strategic Outlooks, Country Strategic Plans, Annual Operating Plans, and other key activities
- Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis to support conclusions and influence decisions, including market segmentation and sizing, market trend and competitive landscape analyses, business and financial modeling, operations analyses, etc.
- Help to build the team's reputation as a step-change thinker, action-driver, and value-creator by providing action-oriented solutions to complex questions
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of our capital, operating expenses, and SG&A expenses as we scale the business across geographies.
- Concisely synthesize analyses into compelling presentations that identify key trends, insights, and implications while aligning stakeholders on an action plan
- Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate them
What you'll need :
- 10-15 years of experience in leading sales and marketing of diagnostic devices in multiple geographies
- Experience of launching products internationally, thorough understanding of market in at least one a developed market (North America, European Union, Australia, Japan, China, etc.)
- Experience with owning P&L of a product line
- Commercial mindset combined with a strategic toolkit and execution focus, able to drive good ideas from concept to revenue in an effective, disciplined manner
- Experience working in a global context, across multiple time zones in a matrixed environment
Bonus points if - Prior experience in the healthcare diagnostics industry
