About the Role:
Sigmoid is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant who will be responsible for developing best in class data & analytics solutions and writing winning proposals for delivery services. This is a key role which involves leading initiatives to acquire new logos and participating in new revenue generation for the organization. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work at the intersection of Business, Data, and Technology to solve business problems for Fortune 1000 companies.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the sales team to scope customer needs and create content for engaging discussions with analytics sponsors in prospective new logos.
- Develop winning proposals and present complex analytical solutions to stakeholders in a simplistic manner to showcase solution expertise and engagement design.
- Participate in customer discovery sessions, respond to bids, RFPs/RFIs, support POCs, build and deliver compelling business cases that are aligned to customer's use case.
- Think through a problem statement, collaborate with teams with expertise in different domains to bring together the best of all solutions to create a suitable response to any customer request.
- Through a consultative approach use industry knowledge and best practices, coupled with knowledge of how Sigmoid's capabilities can drive improvement to acquire new business and differentiate from competition.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in IT or data & analytics space with a balanced mix of delivery and pre-sales experience (candidates with no core pre-sales experience can also apply).
- Education: Graduate/Post graduate degree in a quantitative discipline from a reputed institute.
- Exposure to Big Data, AI/ML, Cloud Technologies and Modern Data Platforms.
- Consultative sales experience and ability to engage with both technology and business leaders.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Industry experiences of CPG, Retail, BFSI will be an added advantage.
