Position Overview:

- As a Bid Manager at Sify Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid management lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to submitting competitive proposals.

- You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that proposals are aligned with Sify's capabilities in data centers, cloud, networking, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Bid Management: Lead and manage the bid process from initial opportunity identification, proposal development, through to submission, ensuring alignment with Sify's technical solutions and commercial objectives.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, technical, finance, legal, and operations to gather information and ensure all components of the bid are met, including pricing, compliance, and technical specifications.

- Proposal Writing & Strategy: Develop and write tailored proposals, ensuring that they effectively communicate Sify's value proposition, technical solutions (cloud, managed hosting, data center services), and differentiation.

- Pricing & Costing: Work closely with finance and technical teams to prepare accurate pricing models that are competitive while maintaining profitability.

- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact during the bidding process, presenting proposals to clients, addressing queries, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all proposals comply with regulatory, legal, and industry standards, managing any risks associated with bids.

- Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor the bid team, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality bid submissions.

Skills & Experience:

- Experience: 12+ years in bid management, with a strong understanding of data centers, cloud solutions, and IT services.

- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data center operations, cloud computing, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT solutions.

- Proposal Development: Expertise in writing, editing, and managing RFP responses and proposals.

- Client Interaction: Strong ability to engage with clients and stakeholders, understand their needs, and tailor solutions accordingly.

- Pricing & Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing models and cost structures in the IT and data center services industry.

- Candidates with experience in working with Govt and PSU RFPs Preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the IT and data center services sectors, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex bids.

- They will possess strong leadership and communication skills, be highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

- Familiarity with Sify's service offerings (cloud, data centers, networking, managed services) would be a distinct advantage.
