Sideways Consulting (www.sideways.co.in) is a one-of-its-kind creative problem solving company based out of Mumbai, India. Founded in 2015 by Abhijit Avasthi (ex-National Creative Director, Ogilvy India), it is a curious mix of a consulting firm, an advertising agency, a design house, a technology solutions company, and an industrial design studio. Besides partnering clients across a range of problems and opportunities, Sideways has also embarked on developing its own IPs across disciplines. The first one being through a JV with Reliance Brands to design and manufacture innovative toys and games.

Profile and Expectations of the Candidate : We are looking for a CA with between 10 to 12 years work experience in Business Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities :

- Putting financial processes and discipline in place.

- Looking after costing, pricing, budgeting, capacity analysis (how many projects with current team/future), collections, profitability analysis, CBA on investments like PR, new head count etc. How to grow pricing year on year?

- Productivity/profitability across different disciplines and projects.

- Looking after our banking, treasury, taxation needs.

- Looking after salary and other compensation structures.

- Smooth day to day finance ops.

- Maintaining compliance needs.

- Managing capital rotation.

- Being a part of fee negotiations and drawing out contracts with clients.

- Growth planning (& execution) for Sideways in the years to come.

- Candidates with prior experience in the consulting/services/media/advertising industry with exposure to an environment which has IP pricing /Talent management needs will be preferred.
