Head - Talent Development
About the job:
Main Duties:
- Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Talent will be responsible for the establishment of a Talent Development function at SI Global.
- You will implement a talent management program that will enable the business to fully understand the talent profile of the business, identifying top talent, future and aspiring leaders while creating succession plans for critical roles across the organisation.
- Through the management of a team of learning professionals, you will develop globally scalable strategic learning and development curriculum, framework and programs aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Company's Talent Management globally to assess current workforce capabilities compared to the current and future needs required to deliver against business strategy.
- Use technology to embed talent management initiatives (talent mapping and profiling, 9 box assessments, succession planning) into standard business practices on a cyclical cadence.
- Work with the People Partner team globally to understand current workforce dynamics in terms of team member performance and potential, identifying top talent, specialist knowledge and skills sets that are critical to retain and aspiring and future leaders.
- Design and implement the Company's learning strategy, developing globally scalable programs and curricula to address current and future learning needs aligned to the overall business strategy.
- Establish evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of leadership development programs and overall training initiatives.
- Create customized leadership training content for various managerial levels within the organization.
- Develop both digital and in-person training materials using adult learning principles, incorporating multimedia and other innovative techniques.
- Lead and facilitate leadership training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring an engaging learning experience for participants.
- Evaluate and refine training delivery methods to maximize engagement and retention.
- Provide feedback and coaching to leadership teams as part of their development journey.
About the Candidate:
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using e-learning software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field.
- A professional certification in Learning & Development is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs.
- Experience in team management and development.
- Strong understanding of instructional design, content creation, and learning management systems (LMS).
