Reporting To: Sr. Manager - System Architecture & Application Development

Main Purpose : Actively participate in activities of the organisation's overall IT strategy and direction

Should be playing a major role in IT projects - Act as a vital link between Implementation Team, Developers and System Analyst

Key Tasks & Responsibilities :

- Analyse business requirements regarding applications, translate these, in accordance with architecture and security, into technical requirements, specifications, design solutions and applications

- Prepare and execute all activities in line with Organization rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies

- Actively participate in the code review / deployment and change plan reviews for all developmental platforms / applications

- Analyse the functioning and security of applications, within the assigned area, to ensure that performance is in line with the agreed performance indicators

- Ensure optimal functionality of IT databases, and their adherence to data integrity requirements

- Contribute to, participate and/or facilitate various projects in the organization

- Keep up to date with developments and expertise regarding the assigned domain. Improve team delivery accordingly and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information within the team

- Ensure proper documentation and/or coding conventions regarding applications is in place and also monitor delivery of this by third parties if applicable

Required Skill set :

- Proven working experience in web programming and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS and .NET technologies

- Familiar with Server-Side Object Model & Client-Side scripting, SPFx framework, SQL Server stored procedures, Console programs, ASP.NET /C# .NET / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / OData / REST API

- Familiar with Integrating data from various back-end web services and databases

- Good Knowledge of Software Applications Development lifecycle and ITIL Methodologies

- Fair Understanding of Quality Standards, Legislation and Best Practice in the IT industry

- Anticipating and solving problems that might arise during an IT project and finding solutions before they Go-Live and thus have a Smooth Implementation

Qualification & Competencies:

- B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science ) / MCA

Experience : Post Qualification 6-8 yrs.
