As a Founder's Office Associate at Shipsy, you will work directly with the founders and senior leaders on high-impact strategic initiatives across business functions. This role is a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to key business activities, including product innovation, operational excellence, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. You will serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative thinking to support Shipsy's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects & Initiatives:
- Collaborate with founders to plan, execute, and monitor strategic projects with cross functional teams.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
- Work on high-stakes initiatives to drive growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards for business metrics and KPIs.
- Use data analytics to draw insights and create recommendations for product, operations, and sales teams.
- Create presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting Shipsy's value propositions and business strengths.
Operational Efficiency:
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for organizational scalability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance customer experience and platform performance.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with key stakeholders across business units, including customers, partners, and investors.
- Act as a point of contact for communications with partners and clients to ensure alignment and support strategic goals.
Market Expansion & Business Development:
- Support the expansion into new geographies by researching target markets and regulatory landscapes.
- Identify strategic opportunities and partnerships that align with Shipsy's growth objectives.
Leadership Support:
- Provide ad hoc support to leadership for high-priority tasks, enabling them to focus on vision and growth.
- Serve as a proactive partner, helping leadership anticipate challenges, prioritize projects, and make data-informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, strategic operations, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented approach.
