Product Marketing Leaders at Shipsy play a critical role in the growth of the organization. They are responsible for identifying new product innovation opportunities as well as maximizing the potential of our existing products. This individual would be responsible for a product marketing strategy that would include positioning, messaging, pricing, and packaging among many other things. In addition, the individual would be responsible for maximizing the potential through a fine-tuned go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:

Go-To-Market: Draft and execute a go-to-market plan in conjunction with other stakeholders such as Product and Sales. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your area of focus.

Messaging & Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market through a detailed analysis of the customer segment and the market.

Product Strategy: Talk to customers, conduct market research, work with our product analysts, and acquire insights that will inform the product strategy

Product Communication: Plan the launch of new related products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Manage rollout of new features/product updates via blogs, webinars, email campaigns, Internal comms/training, etc

Content: Create customer-facing thought leadership content - ebooks, whitepapers, customer success stories to evangelize, engage and excite current and potential client base

Sales enablement: Create and conduct enablement training on new updates and their benefits/ value for field sales and other customer-facing teams

Market Analysis: Analyze RFPs, demos, competition, etc to understand the gaps in Shipsy's products and communicate the gaps to product teams to influence the product roadmap

Customer Intelligence: Be the expert on buyers of the product, how they buy, and their buying criteria.

Competitive analysis: Follow and analyze competitors and other market trends to create competitive differentiators on leading competitors and their offerings.

Qualification:

- MBA or PGD in Marketing from a Tier 1 B-School.

- Integrity, high energy, a team player who is passionate about solving customer problems and building relationships

- Exceptional cross-organization collaboration and communication skills

- Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
