Is involved in hands-on delivery of a cross-section of team projects. - Brings good understanding and own perspectives of business environment and value chains in one or more areas of Upstream / Downstream / IG/ IT and Technology - Supports end to end delivery of assigned work streams in a large / complex project, or delivers medium size / complexity projects independently. - Delivers required work streams through own hands-on data gathering and analysis, and is able to synthesize these into high quality so-whats and recommendations - Proactively coordinates with members in own and other SCI teams to obtain the required inputs, and also disseminates data/knowledge from own area of work to these teams - Takes guidance from senior team members and stakeholders on subject matter or functional skills - Manages the relationship with clients at working level by building good credibility - Builds own network in Shell, and selectively with external service providers, to identify synergies, obtain / validate required data and viewpoints - Demonstrates top quartile project delivery by strict adherence to quality framework and provide inputs for enhancing the framework - Demonstrates the eagerness to understand the end-use application of the products, and uses that viewpoint to make improvements in product design and delivery mechanism Requirements : Education and Experience - University degree (Commercial / Technical); Having an MBA would be a plus - Typically 5+ years of professional experience in Oil & Gas related industries/ Oil & Gas related research/data analytics Skills required Market research - Data analysis, database management, knowledge of analyzing financial statements - Ability to analyse both qualitative and quantitative inputs and incorporate these in the products - Project delivery skills involving planning own work, delivering hands-on and coordinating with a wide set of teams - Awareness of informative and statistical source databases across business segments. - Ability to gather, organize and analyze large and complex data sets, and ability to delivery preliminary synthesis - Awareness of key trends and geopolitics in Oil & Gas space - Familiarity with visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau would be an advantage - Direct exposure to O&G business, wider affinity with energy policies/regulatory aspects and working knowledge of financial statements would be a plus Leadership attributes: - High motivation levels and sense of accountability to deliver assigned components of work without close day to day supervision. Flexibility to take feedback and guidance from senior team members and stakeholders - Good communication skills and credibility enabling person to convey complex issues and concepts in a clear and concise manner - Stakeholder Management involving client engagement in scoping, day-to-day working, reviewing quality and resolving issues on occasions - Ability to handle ambiguity and remaining structured
