Lubricants Technical Advisor Services Purpose : - The Purpose of this role is to support in delivering inorganic growth to India Lubricants and strong customer experience through enhanced Lubricant Services. - The role involves working with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, Route To Market, Finance, Credit & Technical teams), external stakeholders (Equipment suppliers, OEMs, Customers, Distributors, Service providers) to ensure that integrated lubricant service solutions are deployed which add both monetary value and intangible benefits like exclusivity, lock in partnership to the organization and customers. Dimensions : - This is a national role cutting across Lines and Channels of Business. - Jointly roll out Services strategy with services core team to drive inorganic growth to India P&L - Implement Services offer book jointly with Services BDM - End to End Management of maintenance + condition monitoring (Lubricant + equipment + filtration, rehydration) - Support roll out of New Services - umbrella brands for all service & distributor offers and via the Integrated Services Platform - Integration of services with digital strategy - Responsible for deployment, capability development of Shell and Channel Partners with customer centric approach and commercial mindset. Education Requirements / Field of Study : - Degree (e.g. BSc, BEng) - engineering or mechanical or comparable technical background skills - MBA in Sales/Marketing would be an added advantage Requirements : - 7+ years experience in a technical (lubricants & applications) environment, OEM technical services or technical service industry depending on job level - Experience in a customer facing role (Customer Services Operations or front line sales, front line technical) - Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills - Have engineering knowledge in industry or transport, reliability engineering or related discipline - Vendor management skills - Understanding of OEMs and Service providers for both industry and automotive sectors - Understanding of Service Industry KPIs, performance metrics, quality manual, digital skills and hands-on experience on delivering services - Exposure to acquisition is desirable - Skills to manage GSAP, IT platform for Services deployment, awareness, ordering, monetization and customer services
