- Responsible for smooth running of Plants and Utility.

- To minimize Equipment Downtime by focusing on finding the root cause of the problem and solving it.

- Planning and executing the Capex and new expansion jobs.

- To analyze and take corrective actions on repetitive problems.

- To optimize the utility operations to maximize uptime.

- Effective maintenance planning of utilities to maximize uptime.

- To ensure spare parts management, availability of mandatory spares and inventory control.

- Preparation of Revenue and Capital Budgets. Identification key factors for controlling the budget.

- To introduce advance maintenance practices and improve condition monitoring of equipment.

- Material and man power planning, monitoring the progress and take actions to achieve target.

- To provide input related to design to Technical Services and vendors for selection of new equipment for the operational plants

- To Lead the process of continuous up gradation of engineering practices and technology as relevant to business needs.

- To Identify opportunities for improving quality, manufacturing efficiencies and safety through engineering solutions.

- Review of Engineering issues and taking corrective steps to resolve it.
