We have an opportunity for a Sharepoint Architect for one of our MNC client, which provides IT Services and is one of the world's largest consulting, outsourcing and professional services company.
Job Description:
- Minimum 13 Years of experience required with at least 4 Years on SharePoint as Architect
- Hands on Framework Developments, POCs, Architect/Design and Solutioning
- Hands-on experience required for SharePoint 2010, and SharePoint 2013
- Hands on experience on C# and .Net
- Microsoft SQL Server Database, Analysis, Integration and Reporting Services ASP.NET and client development
- SharePoint 2010/2013 Certified (Microsoft Certifications)
- Fix problems using Problem Management Process
- Install and configure tools and applications based on Installation and verification documents
- Experience of designing and implementing large SharePoint platform Proactive monitoring of the SharePoint platform and applications
- Excellent SharePoint engineering and infrastructure designing skills
- Technically strong with proven track record on SharePoint and .Net technology
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work as a Solution Architect and define architecture/design
- Code independently in C# for SharePoint platform
- Own development, maintenance and enhancement projects
- Be process oriented, with a clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and software
configuration processes
- Configure and use out of the box features
- SharePoint development, NET basically C#, PowerShell scripting and JavaScript
- Play central role in the complete lifecycle including: presale efforts and responding to RFPs, designing solution and envisioning follow up
- Provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design
- Understand the Microsoft SharePoint solution stack, and have through understanding of enterprise application integration involving Business process and forms, Business Intelligence, Collaboration, Enterprise Content Management, and Portals
- Interact with client, do requirement analysis, proposing solution, estimation, listing down assumptions and grey areas of requirement.
- Prepare high level architecture of solution
- Get involved in creation of Proof of Concept
- Resolve technical challenges, validating solutions, challenging solutions seeking alternative solutions
- Set up coding standards and best practices, creating skeleton for projects and assist development team in initial phase of project kick off
- Resolve technical problems if the team needs help
- Conduct technical audits of projects and come up with improvement suggestions
- Ensure Non Functional requirements have been defined at start of project
- Develop business cases to support architectural decisions
- Expert in estimating efforts required for SharePoint activities
- Able to engage customers on technology topics
