Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Technical Officer cum co-founder for our Fin-Tech Operations to spearhead the product development and related aspects of financing business. He/she will come from a background where delivering results and driving innovation is the nature and quality in equal measure. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development. Technocrats having proven experience in financial markets are most welcome;
Job Responsibilities:
As CTO, his/her responsibilities shall be to architect and oversee the building of the entire technology platform for all aspects of the loan process, viz., application, automated decision making, 3rd party financial data-source integration, loan lifecycle management, data-driven learning algorithms and other related activities including but not limited to;
- In partnership with the company's founders, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company's services as a web-based business, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
- Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives.
- As a member of the senior management team, establish a customer service and support process, with particular responsibility for web-based services that implement the support function. Establish a process to integrate customer service and support with the software engineering process to support resolution of customer issues and improve application usability.
- Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers.
- Share knowledge, mentor and educate the organization's investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to the company's technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience;
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or another similar field.
- MBA or similarly relevant graduate degree shall be additional advantage;
- Must understand hardware devices, physical networks (5G, 4G, LoRa, NB-IoT, BLE, ZIGBEE, etc.), network protocols (MQTT, TCP-IP, HTTP, OPC-UA, MODBUS, etc.), and non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance, reliability, storage, latency, etc.);
- Must possess sound knowledge of software development technologies (Java, .NET, PHP, ASP, Angular, Spring, React, Windows, Linux, Android, iPhone, etc.);
- Must possess knowledge of how machine learning, artificial intelligence and computer vision impacts the industry and society;
- Experience in software architecture and API development;
- Excellent Communication Skills; and
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
