Position Summary:

We are looking for mid-to-senior level educators with a hunger for impact and passion in education space. As an owner of this function, you will lead curriculum design for student outcomes and teacher effectiveness. Your responsibilities will range from creating granular learning level outcomes to design of individual lesson plans.

As an early team member, be prepared to do whatever it takes to design high-quality content and pedagogy for the most effective learning experience for our learners.

Core Responsibilities:

- Develop learning outcomes and aligned pedagogy for delivering virtual lessons

- Create lesson plans for different subjects, which can be used by teachers with diverse skill sets

- Curate and design relevant teaching aides like videos, GIFs, questions, assignments

- Create assessment questions based on bloom's taxonomy, concept level texts, slides, videos and worksheets as per the requirements from the pedagogy.

- Develop worksheets with increasing level of difficulty and chapter-level question banks

Key Skills and Competencies :

- A deep understanding of pedagogical theory and practice in primary and middle school setting

- Ability to design engaging and effective lesson plans

- Ability to design quantitative and qualitative assessments aligned to the learning outcomes

- Conceptual understanding of primary and middle school Maths, Science and English Language Arts

- Ability to effectively operate independently and as part of a team in a high-intensity, high-uncertainty start-up environment, with a results-oriented culture

- A desire to receive and act on feedback

Required Experience:

- Experience of working on Maths, English and Science for grades 5th-8th

- Relevant education background or teaching experience is a plus.
