Senior Analyst

Job description:

- Provide end-to-end equity research support to asset managers and analysts of leading investment banks

Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth secondary research and offer deep insights on the sector or companies under coverage.

- Track news flow/updates related to companies under coverage/sector/macroeconomic indicators.

- Develop investment case and present it to key stakeholders/FMs.

- Develop detailed financial models from scratch.

- Conduct valuation analysis using DCF, relative valuation, SOTP and other approaches.

- Provide quarterly earnings preview/review support.

- Maintain a healthy pipeline of assignments on a regular basis and finalize task priorities with the project manager / client.

- Ensure that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, ensuring top quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process.

- Maintain flexibility to learn new techniques and functionalities and gain exposure to various types of assignments.

- Contribute to internal knowledge creation and ad hoc assignments.

- Maintain databases and provide support on ad-hoc assignments.

- Proactively communicate will internal and external stakeholders.

Experience & Skills :

- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role providing equity research support

- Strong exposure in conducting in-depth company and industry research.

- Strong valuation and financial modelling concept

- Proficiency in databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
