Role Overview:- Multi-Screen Media(MSM) is looking for a Commercial leader having strong domain expertise in the entertainment industry who will own, drive, manage and execute delivery of strategic commercial and procurement programs and activities that advance MSM's business, brand, policy and cost goals & objectives.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities:-

Work closely with the CFO on all commercial, sourcing and procurement matters

- Provide strategic counsel and commercial expertise to the business & be accountable for sound commercial decisions across the network.

- Develop MSM's commercial strategy consistent with the overall strategic direction of the organization.

- Know and analyse market trends to identify opportunities that can optimize commercial decisions

- Propose creative commercial solutions to contribute to the bottom-line

- Develop and manage annual commercial budget pertaining to programming, marketing and other costs

- Ensure legal and statutory compliances with organizational processes and systems

- Given this is a corporate role that cuts across all lines of businesses and brands for Multi-Screen Media(MSM), the incumbent is required to work in close partnership with the Channel Business Heads, act as the primary steward managing strategic sourcing balancing individual business needs while looking at driving synergies across the network

- Engage with current and new partners and develop a preferred partner network based on identified performance metrics.

- Oversee the channel commercial teams on negotiation and mentor them to arrive at creative proposals for vendors / partners linked to business objectives.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders from business, legal and finance teams to drive simplified but robust procurement and commercial processes. -

Operate with the highest level of integrity, honesty and transparency and represent the MSM brand appropriately to external stakeholders.

Qualifications/ Requirements:-

Post graduate with around 15 or more years of related experience

- Experience of working with MNCs and in depth experience of driving commercial strategies

- Executive presence, with the capability to build credibility and gain trust and respect with the stakeholders along with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

- She/he should have an entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active attitude, be self-driven and detail oriented, possess excellent business judgment and have a keen eye for value along with great networking skills.

- Sound problem identification, judgment, resolution and decision-making skills often in ambiguous situations Skills & Abilities:-

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to interpret business requirements.

- Inquisitive and analytical mind; disruptive and out-of-the-box thinking

- Excellent influencing skills, customer relations and inter-personal skills; ability to navigate complex organizations.

- Goal driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes and coaches employees to meet high performance standards

- Ability to cope with competing business demands and to prioritize strategic imperatives
