Role Description:

- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Officer located in Ludhiana.

- The Sales Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as managing customer service, generating leads, communicating effectively with clients, overseeing sales operations, and handling channel sales.

- This role involves actively engaging with customers and prospective clients to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the designated territory (Ludhiana).

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market reach and increase product penetration.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and channels.

- Conduct regular market analysis to understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, including retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.

- Negotiate sales terms and agreements to maximize profitability.

- Promote Sesa Care products and brand awareness through effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Provide excellent customer service and support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.

- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the management team to improve products and services.

Sales Operations and Channel Sales:

- Manage and optimize sales operations within the assigned territory.

- Oversee channel sales activities, including distributor management, retailer engagement, and channel development.

- Ensure product availability and visibility at retail outlets through effective merchandising and stock management.

- Monitor and track sales performance, and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.

- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth sales operations.

- Implement sales promotion activities and trade schemes.

Lead Generation and Management:

- Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including field visits, networking, and referrals.

- Qualify leads and prioritize sales efforts to maximize conversion rates.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.

- Follow up on leads and close sales deals in a timely and efficient manner.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales volume, revenue, and market share.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

- Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Customer Service and Lead Generation

- Strong Communication skills (verbal and written)

- Experience in Sales Operations and Channel Sales

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment

- Prior experience in the FMCG sector is a plus

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Sales or a related field.

- Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Sales
