Services Director
Location: Bangalore
Role
Primary role of this position is to manage technical, business, and/or personnel aspects of consulting engagements, ERP implementation projects and assist in sales efforts both with existing clients and prospective ones. To be responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Responsibilities in detail
- Services Director is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of services to our customers
- Leads the Project Management team to ensure the company processes are followed to deliver Best Practice implementations.
- Responsible for managing company projects at the strategic level, managing resources and overseeing finances to ensure that projects progress on time and on budget.
- Overall responsible and accountable for:
Revenue targets, planning, forecasting, execution, reporting actuals, profitability
Partners / sub-contractor management i.e enablement, quality, project
Support to sales team in commercial offerings / RFQ responses
- Work proactively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders involving customer, partner, other subsidiaries within the incadea Group / Cox group
- Identify and mitigate business risks associated with in projects and services team
- Obtains regular client assessment of project progress and directs project team accordingly
- Implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, ensure deliverables are on-time and within budget, increase efficiency, resolve issues and achieve cost savings
- Setting targets and standards and driving client service excellence through the entire Project Manager team
- Effectively address client issues and escalate until resolved
- Develop a strong understanding of clients- business objectives and drive high-level strategic plans and objectives
- Maximize revenue from each client and ensure clients are retained by hitting targets, managing budgets and responding promptly to issues as they arise.
- Ensuring that the team is continually developing its market, innovation and expert knowledge
- Provide strong & relevant management coaching in the field of play
- Conduct team workload reviews and manage task allocation to meet resourcing and timetable needs and managing prioritization to hit targets across multiple activities.
- Although a Services Director typically works in an office setting, travel will be required in order to meet with clients, visit suppliers and vendors, and attend industry conferences
Skills and qualifications:
The ideal Services Director has successfully led a team of Project Managers to high client satisfaction and measureable client Return on Investment (ROI). He/she has managed multiple projects across multiple teams and geographies. This person will have extensive business experience, and meet most or all of the following requirements:
- Bachelor / Master degree + Qualification in Business Management education
- 10-15 years of experience in IT delivery projects, customer engagement and leadership roles
- Experience in handling large scale ERP implementation projects
Good to have : Knowledge of Automotive business process, industry trends
Good to have: Exposure to Budgeting and controlling practices
Must Have: Axapta or microsoft dynamics and Navision
- Understands the Indian and international business landscape alongside the broader commercial landscape and should be able to consider client issues at a strategic level
- Project Management qualification (PMP) or Prince 2
- Track record of leading implementation projects and/or account management leadership.
