Client is seeking a sales resource to market and sell their flow technology products like pumps, hydropneumatic systems, controllers, etc. The selected candidate will be a part of their Flow Technology Group.

Preferred age-group Male. 30-35 years (flexible)
Educational qualifications BE/B.Tech/Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation)
Reporting to Business Manager
Preferred background/experience
- Must have:
- 10 to 15 years in front line Service of industrial pumps and especially in Submersible Pumps and Mixers, HyP Systems, Dosing Skids for medium to large size projects valuing Sales worth Rs. 5 ~ 10 Crores and above.
- Knowledge of servicing pumps & pumping systems with in field installations in Water and Waste Water treatment, Sewage treatment, Water Supply, Building & Construction, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Boilers, General Industry etc.
- Good contacts with senior management personnel in above segments
- Good man-management skills with a pan-India appeal.
- Basic knowledge on equipment selection and processes in the above sectors and execution cycle of medium to large projects necessary.
- Knowledge of booster systems including hydraulic selections, electrical, instrumentations & controls.
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in sales with a pump company and in project execution
- Hands on experience of Microsoft Office with detailed understanding of PowerPoint & Excel
- Exposure to and/or working on ERP
Key responsibilities / Key Result Areas - Managing Service Calls through pan-India team
- Submit proposals for Service Calls, AMC, Spares etc to key prospects.
- Constantly to be in touch with customers to whom proposals have been sent for revision in specs/prices/terms, etc. and follow up for a closure.
- Work closely with Sales team to generate and close leads.
- Support customers with proper application engineering to generate leads and increase the enquiry bank. Offer alternate solutions to save cost.
- Identify influencers and decision makers for converting enquiries into firm orders
- Keep track of orders, enquiry pipelines, market movements, competition.
- Maintain good relationship with customers.
