Optum Global Service, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses is responsible for providing health care back office operational services as a core function to various segments of UnitedHealth Group. Primary Responsibilities :
Maintaining business relationships with multiple (4-5) counterparts with a perspective of smooth running of operations
Provider Data Management / Credentials
Working with the transition manager on getting the projects migrated from onshore locations to Gurgaon or Hyderabad location
Working as an independent site leader taking care of all on site operational and people issues
Conducting Operational Business Reviews with onshore counterparts and management team internally
Coordinating site wide issues with the Site Director
Aligning with key business partners to serve customers
Fostering/maintaining a collaborative relationship with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction and profitability
Working with business partners to identify ways to improve business processes
Assisting in building, reviewing and adhering to the annual business plan
Controlling expenses and increasing profitability via productivity and quality gains
Ensuring the Production Team and Supervisors continually improve their performance and meets Service Level
Agreements/Performance Guarantee goals
Reviewing work results of the team and their pattern of handling claims queues and adjustments
Producing annual business plans including operating budgets
Negotiating solutions, resolving conflicts and anticipating/handling critical situations
Developing, motivating and retaining employees and challenging the- team to set ambitious goals
Providing regular performance feedback and giving- frequent formal and informal coaching sessions
Qualification/Required Qualifications:
Overall 9-10 Years of Experience
At least 4-5 years of Team handling with presently managing span of least 100-150 FTEs
Presently at Manager Operations role for at least for 1 year and handling about 100-150 FTEs
Experience into managing new business transitions or setting up new Operations
Project Management demonstrated experience such as customer service, claims or medical and/or health insurance
Experience in extensive client interactions
Maintaining business relationships with multiple (4-5) counterparts / stake holders
Excellent communication skills, relationship building and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
Demonstrable ability to successfully supervise and lead others
Ability to work collaboratively with sub-ordinates, peers and senior management
Proven track record of sound business judgment and experience of change management Open to work in Night shifts-
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA from a reputed institute
Green Belt certified
Has some experience on Six Sigma
Knowledge/ work experience of US Healthcare industry-
