Service Deliver Lead - Treasury Support Services with a leading financial services

Job Description:

- The Treasury Support Services team (TSS) is part the Global Controllership Organization and is responsible for providing comprehensive global debt, derivative and investment transaction services supporting Treasury & Controllership. The Trade Support team is a key component of TSS, responsible for covering: FX exposure identification, trade capture, confirmation, settlement tracking and accounting & reporting. This exciting position will lead a team with responsibility E2E Derivative trade support activities, including trade capture, confirmation, settlements and accounting.

Description

- Pro-actively build and manage relationship with stakeholders within and outside of the Finance organization, with a focus on delivering effective and efficient derivatives trade support.

- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for team of trade support analysts with a view to drive maximum efficiency and effectiveness and deliver measurable results.

- Fulfill a strategic leadership role in the ongoing Treasury Management System project roll out including leading gathering of data and workflow requirements for the Derivative trade life cycle.

- Technical subject matter expert for derivative and FX accounting.

- Ensure the team maintains a strong control framework in compliance with SOX guidelines, internal guidelines and bank holding company requirements

Qualifications:

Leadership requirements

- Ability to effectively manage a team of analysts with global responsibilities in derivatives trade support

- Strong collaborative and relationship building skills AND proven ability to effectively influence senior finance and business stakeholders

- Significant technical (accounting knowledge) and operational leadership experience required

- Experience assessing operational risks and designing controls to mitigate risks

- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives.

- Ability to manage time and effectively prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines Technical requirements

- Qualified accountant or other equivalent certification essential (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc.)

- Technical accounting knowledge in areas of ASC 830 (FAS 52) for FX, ASC 815 (FAS 133) for hedging

- Strong analytic and problem solving skills with strong process orientation

- Strong knowledge and application of capital markets

- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office tools – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.

- Knowledge of Oracle accounting and reporting tools a plus

- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, facilitation and presentation writing skills
