Service Delivery Lead (SOX/ Internal Audit) opening with a leading financial services, Gurgaon (6-9)

Description:

This position within the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Program Office will play a leading role in developing and implementing the global strategy for the SOX Program. The role will include supporting the quarterly SOX certification process, partnering with process owners and the LORO’s / Operational Risk Champions, supporting ICFR Control Optimization, and driving numerous initiatives that will enhance client’s Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)

- A solid understanding of financial reporting risks and ability to make control recommendations to successfully mitigate such risks

- A solid understanding of financial reporting controls – must be able to identify, document, analyze and implement financial reporting controls

- A solid understanding of control testing – must be able to design, document and assess tests of financial reporting controls

Qualification:

6-8 years of, public accounting, internal audit or operational risk experience

- An understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- The ability to convey clear insight and thought leadership;

- Strong team player, and self-motivation with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- A degree in Accounting/ Finance and a Chartered Accountancy or equivalent qualification are considered a strong plus.

- Successful candidate will be results driven, able to lead and influence without authority, must be flexible and have good work prioritization skills
