Job Description - Director - Sourcing and Procurement Operations
Job Description -
- Strong and Hands on in Sourcing and Procurement
- Should lead client sourcing and procurement delivery team acting as a focal point of the execution
- Manage Profit and Loss of Service Delivery
- Apply best practices and procedures to resolve the issues, demonstrate a thorough understanding and application of concepts and knowledge in business and procurement operations
- Strong Internal and External Stake Holder Collaboration
- Support Solution team in RFP's and contribute to value proposition in Sourcing and Procurement domains
Client and Program Management
- Conduct operational Review meetings with the client team
- Manage the reporting of metrics and SLA's
- Act as a liaison for the client for any escalations, resolving operational issues as needed
- Lead regular audits of client delivery team
- Lead process improvement discussions and perform efficiency and effectiveness projects to improve productivity and customer satisfaction
Delivery Team / People Management
- Should be able to manage team of size 200+ with 4-5 Direct reports and is accountable for driving the performance, quality and consistency of the delivery and guiding the career development of team members
- Manage resource capacity to ensure support of client requirements
- Manage resource requests (screening / discussions for fit)
- Manage performance and growth of the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering /Supply Chain Management Proficiency
- Minimum 18-20 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement Domain
- Prior experience in Service delivery managing 100+ team
- Good Communication and strong Analytical skills
