Service Delivery Lead - Procurement, Shared Services Centre - Mohali
Key Responsibilities :
- Will be responsible for leading and owning the Procurement operations
- Lead the transaction procurement teams and is responsible for delivering best in class service delivery
- Ensure compliance to organization's policy and procedures in the operation of business functions
- Periodically participate in Governance meetings with the various stakeholders to review current processes and align them with the Global strategy
- Provide thought leadership for successful transaction procurement activity process set up and manage operations for noiseless transition and integrating seamless to the Delivery Center
- Will be responsible to review, design and implement global standardized processes and the associated metrics required to identify performance issues/efficiency opportunities
- Will work with the Transformation Lead to establish a strong Management Information process which will include meaningful information and analysis on business and functional performance in the form of dashboards
- Required to establish strong working relationship with the key stakeholders in Europe and Asia and manage them independently, address their needs and resolve issues / escalations received from them
- Will need to drive a culture of high performance in the teams by setting SMART goals with defined measure of success, differentiating between people and rewarding them based on performance
- Will be responsible for driving talent development program in line with the organization plan including career planning discussions, learning & development through training
Knowledge and Experience :
Essential :
- 10+ years- experience in Procurement operations with ideally 5 years of experience in leading procurement operations function, preferably in a complex, fast paced and matrix and challenging work environment
- Significant experience in leading large delivery teams in a Global Environment. Ensure stabilization of transitioned procurement processes
- Deep function, process, transformation and project management knowledge and experience, high attention to detail
- Deep knowledge of procurement technology
- Change management and communication experience, with multi-functional team management/ collaboration experience
- Quick to identify risks and collaborate with necessary parties to develop risk mitigation plans
- An understanding of shared services/ COE operating models
- Working knowledge of leading practices in shared services
