Service Delivery Lead - Finance Training (Training & Development) - Leading financial services
Job Description:
The Finance organization is dedicated to the career development of its 2,100+ employees in over 35 different countries. The training team is focused primarily on technical accounting and finance acumen, business knowledge and professional development. This position will be based in Gurgaon, having local, regional and global responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing the training strategy for locations in the JAPA region. In addition to driving local and regional plans, this position will collaborate with his / her counterparts in implementing global development solutions. It's an excellent opportunity to own and execute a training strategy for a specific customer group while still owning select global initiatives for development and implementation.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Interact with local and regional senior leadership to conduct needs assessments for the Finance hubs in the region, then partner in executing training plans. Identify appropriate internal learning solutions as well as determine when vendors are appropriate and when a new learning solution should be created internally.
- Design and develop learning solutions of all types (classroom, online, blended, etc.) . Implement learning solutions and measure their success. Facilitate select training courses. Partner with HR to implement global AXP learning programs and local employee development initiatives. Need to have a flexible work schedule to accommodate interacting with multiple locations.
Qualifications: .
- Seasoned training and development professional with experience in strategic planning, conducting a needs analysis to create a training strategy for a business unit. .
- Excellent project management skills, especially with implementing global projects. .
- Self starter and capable of working independently with minimal leadership guidance and local administrative support .
- Experience in instructional design for both classroom and online delivery with a keen understanding of adult learning theory .
- Outstanding facilitation skills for conducting trainings in multiple global locations on diverse training topics . Innovative thinker to bring course design and delivery to new levels. .
- Experience in evaluating training interventions, especially using Kirkpatrick's 4 Levels of Evaluation . Exceptional writing skills for creating presentations and emails. .
- Ability to effectively present and interact with senior leaders. .
- Experience in collaborating with customers and team members in a global environment. .
- Ability to build relationships with all levels of employees and influence without authority, to enable success in a matrix organization. .
- Experience in managing and collaborating with external vendors. .
- Skilled with learning tools like the SumTotal and SharePoint. .
- Extremely proficient in PowerPoint and Excel. . Having certifications to facilitate (e.g. MBTI, Situational Leadership II, Franklin Covey) a plus. .
- Working knowledge of latest training technologies (e.g. Adobe Connect, Articulate Presenter) a plus. .
- Knowledge of business products and services a plus. . Knowledge of Finance and Accounting a plus. . 10% travel
- Must be able to travel internationally .
- Need to be able to work a flexible shift
