- The Project Lead is responsible for developing project plans, tracking timelines and budgets, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols, and implementing and monitoring quality control procedures.
- The Head of Project Management will lead projects related to the development, production, or improvement of products or manufacturing processes.
- They will work closely with cross-functional teams, which may include engineers, designers, production workers, and quality assurance specialists.
- Project Managers must identify and mitigate project risks, monitor resource utilization, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, while also improving product quality and increasing efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading multiple projects: will be responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Developing project teams: will be responsible for developing project teams by training and managing team members.
- Creating project strategies: will be responsible for creating project strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Managing project budgets: will be responsible for managing project budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Improving manufacturing processes: will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance: will be responsible for ensuring that projects comply with regulatory standards, such as ISO and FDA regulations.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures: will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that products meet project requirements and specifications.
- Communicating with executive leadership: will be responsible for communicating project status and progress to executive leadership.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors: will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials and resources are delivered on time and within budget.
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned engineering projects via MS Project software
- Prepare Project Reports.
- To schedule regular meetings and report on any potential delays or issues that arise during the process.
- To prepare progress reports and present them to the project manager.
- Responsible end-to-end project documentation, both hard and soft copies.
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical / Electrical with minimum 10 years experience in Project Planning and Control.
- PMP or any other Project certification will be added advantage.
