Reliance Retail (RRL) Marketplace

- The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics, paying a service fee to the marketplace platform in exchange for the listing and e-commerce services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- The SEO Manager is an analytical & data savvy individual who will have complete ownership of SEO and will be responsible for driving business goals through organic reach and quality traffic, audience growth, and customer acquisition for JioMart marketplace.

- The candidate will co-own acquisition target and work closely with performance marketing team to ensure both PPC campaigns and SEO work in synergy. He/she will create and drive a robust strategy to ensure free search product discovery experience and improve search engine ranking.

- The candidate will leverage consumer insights (search behavior, needs and gaps) and seek out new opportunities and market understanding to plan, implement and enhance customer search experience and drive customer acquisition.

- He/she must have successfully handled projects displaying expertise in both technical and content SEO to continuously improve customer discovery and experience.

- This role would require the candidate to work with external agencies and third-party/freelance content developers to drive business goals.

- This is an early-stage opportunity with JioMart with a chance to work directly with the key stakeholders and shape the journey of JioMart in India. We are looking for an individual who can thrive in ambiguity, is innovative and creative to deliver the best in class on site experience for our customers.

- Build & implement effective onsite and offsite SEO strategies with a roadmap of initiatives focused on growing organic reach, customer acquisition, and driving revenue.

- Analyse data to identify insights & trends, optimise content towards achieving maximum site engagement and high-performing competitive keywords ranking. Analyse keywords and SEO/SEM techniques used by competition and industry

- Develop and implement link and traffic building strategies within search engine guidelines

- Conduct regular website audits, ranking checks to monitor performance - identify issues, areas of improvement and deploy solutions to improve SEO performance.

- Develop a robust content strategy based on trending keywords and work with internal and external teams to deliver content/video to maximise organic growth and improve search ranking

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Post Graduate/Graduate from a premier management school.

- 7 years of technical SEO experience and content marketing towards driving organic revenue growth for D2C/ ecommerce websites

- Experience in handling projects single handily from concept level to execution.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to build strategies/ campaigns, drive actions and recommend improvements

- Experience in using SEO tools and other analytical tools for data analysis

- Ability to do deep data analysis and present actionable insights in easy consumable manner to stakeholders

- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills in English.

- Strong bias for action with high attention to detail.

- Experience with using Excel to maintain and analyse data on a regular basis

- Experience working with cross functional teams to drive specific objectives

- Being able to manage multiple projects and co-ordinate with internal teams with a strong focus on delivering results.
