About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SEO Lead to join our growing team and provide high-quality search engine optimization solutions. This position will work directly with our product, tech, and growth marketing teams to improve the search engine optimization and overall performance of the website. As the Search Engine Optimization Lead, your focus will be to drive our SEO strategies to inform content marketing and technical and onsite improvements. You will apply both creative and analytical skills to develop and implement SEO strategies and technical tactics. You will have responsibility for measuring, analyzing, and achieving results while leading the team with best practices and testing.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, execute and deliver SEO strategies that support website roadmap for improvements in product, on-page, and technical.

- Establish a test-and-learn environment across all core pages of the website to drive better on-page conversion.

- Establish, measure, analyze KPIs and report on benchmarks.

- Conduct competitor analysis, ranking analysis, and monitoring competitor sites to inform strategy.

- Perform continuous auditing, and identify and recommend areas for improvement within site structure, page templates, and redirects.

- Develop SEO-centered ways to acquire more traffic.

- Introduce and create SEO A/B testing to understand the effectiveness of optimization and quantify results.

- Stay informed and advise on SEO best practices, trends, and technologies.

- Serve as subject matter expert for all things SEO, educate and inform throughout the organization.

- Create monthly reports containing a robust description of monthly web activity, suitable advice and recommendations for future pages, and a clear summary of performance against KPIs.

The Ideal Candidate:

- 5+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), ideally in a Saas-based product, Ed-tech, or any product company.

- Someone who has worked in an SEO agency or in a product company as an in-house SEO, where he/she was responsible for planning and implementing the SEO strategy for large sites.

- Candidates must have knowledge and experience with web tracking tools which include GA and GSC.

- Deep understanding of technical aspects of crawling, rendering, ranking, deep website audit, and fixing the website errors like co-web vital.

- Proven track record of developing and presenting strategies and results to leadership.

- An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices

- Self-starter who can develop, lead, prioritize and execute SEO strategies.

- Deep Understanding of the Technical Aspects of SEO combined with strategic experience and a broad, visual understanding of how search engines work.

- Must be open to learning new things and have an inquisitive mindset. who has practical knowledge of running SEO experiments, validating outcomes, and implementing findings?

Additional abilities and knowledge:

- Experience in the optimization of millions of pages.

- Have worked on Website migration previously.

- Experience being an SEO Lead in previous jobs is a plus.
