Key responsibilities:

Source trending keywords from Google/Twitter/Yahoo/Airtel Live search log, and make sure our search result is optimised

- register spelling variables of trending keywords with Speller tool

If the trending is not returning expected results, we will do the followings:

- use recommendation module to show a relevant destination right at the top

- if not many content, create a new post for Qrious and make sure we do return something interesting content

- if relevant module is not shown on top of search result page, use Dynamic module ranking tool to bright it right at the top

Create good results when no match or irrelevant module results:

- use above tools to configure the ranking other of relevant modules or site links

- collect popular web site links in India

- revise zero match queries and reflect on our search result

- flag porn sites and hide from our search result

- go through Speller tool to check and approve Spelling variables of popular queries that system identifies (about 100-1000 keywords a day)

- go through Related Query module to check and approve relevant queries for query recommendation feature (about 100 key words a day)

- go though Search Result Checker to compare our search result with google and add required changes by using above tools

- check VAS content and remove from the result if inappropriate

- work on external site that we power their search, and optimise their revenue by doing the same with above for partners.

Experience:

- 2-3 years of experience in handling search portals with massive scale

- Tech background preferred

- Excellent comm skills

- Ease to use MS Office tools
