Our platform overlays cutting edge search, collaboration and visualization tools on financial data sets allowing our clients to supercharge their research process. Today, hundreds of analysts and portfolio managers are actively relying on Sentieo to make investment decisions and are switching over from competitors such as Bloomberg Terminal & CapitalIQ.

This position is especially challenging because you will be working with incredibly large, complex financial and social datasets. Your job will be to help find innovative ways to interpret and analyze these datasets and make them available to our users. You will be helping build the next generation of products that give Sentieo's users an edge.

Key Responsibilities

- Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and defining processes to integrate them with the system

- Build analytical tools and processes to clean and validate the accuracy of data

- Identifying and analyzing trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Constructing financial models using statistical analysis of a variety of financial, economic and real time social data

- Building curated Sentieo datasets using the existing tools and features built in the product

- Conceptualizing new features in the product, finding new innovative ways to represent and visualize data

Requirements

- MBA/Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field from a Tier-1 institute

- 1-4 years of experience working on buy/sell side research

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong understanding of financial statements, macroeconomics and valuation techniques

- Proficiency with financial research tools such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, FactSet
