Head Of Digital Marketing
This is the first digital marketing hire of Sensibull. This role directly reports to the Co-founder/ Head of Growth. The focus of this role is engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The acquisition is NOT a problem we are solving right now.
This is a unique opportunity to work with the early stages of the largest cross-broker trading platform and advisory marketplace in India. You will play a significant part in shaping the future of a super early stage, fast-growing, profitable, and potentially disruptive fintech startup.
MUST HAVEs :
- At least 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing with revenue responsibilities in a B2C product company that scaled.
- Hands-on experience in large scale-marketing automation campaigns including but not limited to emails and push notifications. The scale has to be at least 100,000 users
- Performance Marketing - Google, FB, etc with at least 2 Cr annual budget

It is now setting up the first and largest advisor marketplace in India at scale - the 10x bet. We are solving the most challenging problem in the investment space - how to make a common man investor profitable.
Sensibull is funded by and partnered with Zerodha, the largest stockbroker in India. We have tied up with the 7 biggest brokers in India, and many more in the top 10, making it one of the largest platforms in the trading space in India. We are operationally profitable, and looking to expand to other geographies. We are a product focussed, engineering-heavy and high-ownership team of 40 people.
The big picture is Pretty simple - You own the digital marketing piece with revenue responsibilities - the specific focus is on engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will create the digital marketing strategy working with the head of growth and execute it. Your focus will be on user retention and revenue growth. You will have complete ownership of digital. You will also set up the digital marketing team.
What will you do here?
- Understand the product, gain consumer insights, come up with the selling propositions
- Work on the messaging on all consumer-facing touchpoints in-app and off-app - emails, Push Notifications, partner websites, social, etc
- Build a culture of experimentation and iteration to understand what messaging works for our consumers
- Campaign management - emails, marketing automation such drip campaigns, push notifications, social media, real estate inside apps of partners such as brokers
- Evaluation of campaign effectiveness on various channels
- Collaboration with other teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies. You are the anchor and will be responsible for the outcomes
Requirements Other than the must-haves at the beginning of the JD, we are looking for:
- Proven experience in Digital Marketing
- Experience in marketing automation tools such as Mautic, Clevertap, etc
- Ability to do data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and such
- Experience in conducting AB tests and similar analytical methods to iterate product messaging
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and predisposition to think
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. If you can write short marketing content, it is a bonus
- If you are passionate about the stock markets it is a huge plus
