Senior VP - Lead Application Management & Delivery - Bank

Our Client, a Leading Private Bank is looking out for a Sr.VP - Lead Application Management & Delivery to be based at Mumbai.

Job Purpose -

- Lead Application Support, Changes, Defect fixing for critical domains through L1, L2 and Vendor teams.

- Lead the Implementation of Process, Quality and Governance initiatives to maintain high standards of Quality of Service

- Lead the Implementation of new applications / modules being developed / adopted by the unit/ in the program.

- Ensure the uptime & Availability of the applications assigned.

- Additionally focus on sustenance of the systems, Performance improvements and optimal utilization of the systems

- Keeping this in account, following are the few tasks which are expected the individual to deliver as part of his Job role.

Job Responsibilities -

- Lead support teams for all applications owned by the unit.

- Understanding and analyzing the problems and remediate.

- Create framework to setup and manage L1, L2 and Vendor Teams to support day to day Incident Management

- Problems are resolved with discussions with Business, providing Work Around solutions instantly and thereafter work on a permanent fix.

- Set up the right teams for managing the regular Audit and Compliance needs of the Vertical.

- Monitoring and proactive management of the regulatory compliance and audit requirements for the vertical, ensuring timely remediation.

- Integrates solutions with existing systems within the bank, identifies impact areas and gaps, have them addressed through relevant team.

- 24-7 System Monitoring and management - health across stack application, infrastructure software(WAS/WLS/OracleDB/ etc) & physical infrastructure (Server CPU/RAM/NIC, Storage IOPS/latency/etc).

- Permanent incident resolution - Record, track, close with RCA

- Incident reports - prepare, validate, circulate

- Stakeholder management - involve, communicate details/impact/workaround

- KEDB - create , maintain , validate, use at time of incidents

- Change management (Scheduled and emergency) SFR, Scheduled Data Patch, VAPT, AppSec, OS Patching UAT testing and production rollout

- BCP / DR Drills - support execution. Create and maintain run book. Optimize on observations.

- Onboard new Applications ensuring perquisites are followed in lines with checklist.

- Ensure solution implementation upto production -> prepare architecture; procure and provision resources; install and configure application; integrate with involved systems; holistically test solution; coordinate with control functions and ensure sign-offs; implement in production; handover to production management team.

- Front end and handle Application audits with IA, Statutory, Regulatory Auditors

- Remediate application audit observations and ensuring hygiene processes are followed to achieve ZERO REPEAT OBSERVATIONS

- Define, review and optimize monitoring KPIs configured in the automation tools.

- Conduct vendor reviews.

- Monthly Management Update.

Education Qualification and Skills:

- Professional Qualification like BE/MSc/MCA or equivalent qualifications

- Approx. 20 years of banking experience in financial services domain

- Solution Design, Solution Architecture Finalization, Finalization of BOM and TCO, People Management, Project/ Program Management, Vendor Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management, Budgeting, Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Influencing skills, Leadership, Mentoring, Relationship Management
