About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hands-on Technologist with deep expertise in architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale distributed applications and platforms in the Finance domain.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern cloud-based technology programs and a proven ability to mentor teams while working on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, design, and implement large-scale distributed applications from the ground up, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

- Lead and mentor teams in the development and maintenance of financial technology systems, ensuring best practices and industry standards.

- Drive the technology strategy for large-scale cloud-based programs and ensure seamless integration with various financial services.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Oversee the design and implementation of key financial applications, including but not limited to:

- Order Routing and Management Systems

- Risk Management Systems

- Back-office Systems

- Mobile Applications

- Open API Development

- Thick Client Applications

- Messaging, Feeds, and Notification Systems

- Portfolio Management Systems

- Fixed Income Trading Platforms

- CRM Systems

- Account Opening Systems

- Disaster Recovery Strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact financial technology solutions

Qualifications:

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of cyber security best practices in financial applications.

- Exposure to AI/ML applications in finance.

Role Proficiencies:

- Proven experience as a hands-on technologist with expertise in financial domain applications.

- Strong architectural and design skills for distributed systems, cloud computing, and modern technology stacks.

- In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, risk management, and back-office processes.

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies relevant to financial applications.

- Extensive experience working with cloud-based architectures, microservices, and API integrations.

- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing technology teams.
