Senior Vice President - Supply Chain Management

Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Warehouse Management, Procurement, and Logistics is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain and logistics operations to ensure the timely and quality delivery of school supplies. This includes uniforms, bags, shoes, stationery, and curriculum books. The SVP will lead a team including the Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, and Procurement Manager, and will have full Profit & Loss (P&L) and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.

- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution.

- Oversee the development and execution of supply chain plans for new products and programs.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain metrics.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualification:

- MBA degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with a focus on school procurements, warehouse management, and B2C operations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving operational excellence and leading large, diverse teams.

- Working knowledge of Helpdesk Management System, Oracle Fusion, SAP and other Warehouse Management Systems is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with supply chain technologies and software systems.
