Senior Vice President - Settlements Operations - Institutional Equities

- Controlling complete trade clearing and settlement across Indian markets which includes Stock loans, exchange trades, custody/PB trades, priority clients, penalties/Buy in trades etc

- Partner closely with Business Units in enhancing our client service levels and support for new business development. Identifies and develops value added solutions that support clients' needs.

- Oversight and management of Vendor team to review all tasks, Settlement related activities performed including reviewing their KRI/KPIs and SLA with them thus recording and discussing all the error logs for mitigating risk exposure.

- Provides management oversight and review of regulatory reporting functions.

- Drive review of the controls and processes in order to reduce operational and client risk.

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strive for delivery of commercial initiatives.

- Work with global counterparts in running the strategic agenda for Security Settlements.

- People management and responsible for career development of staff reporting into them.

- Partner with the various Operations teams, Business Units and Agent Banks, in order to maximize trade settlement whilst minimizing financial, franchise and regulatory risk to the Firm and Firm Clients.

- Develop, supervise and report the team's key risk & performance indicators on a periodic basis.

- Point of escalation for the function and supports team on issue resolution
