Hiring for Purchase Manager.

Industry: FMCG, QSR.

Location Okhla Phase 1Delhi.

Job Description:

- The Sr VP Purchase will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process and purchasing functions within the company.

- This role involves strategic planning, supplier management, logistics coordination, and cost control to ensure that our catering services run efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed to maintain competitive advantage.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favourable conditions and cost savings.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Purchasing Operations:

- Develop and manage purchasing policies and procedures to streamline procurement processes.

- Manage the purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

Cost Management:

- Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.

- Prepare and manage budgets related to purchasing functions.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor purchasing performance.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance metrics and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

- MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience (20+ years) in supply chain management and purchasing, with a strong track record in a leadership role.

- In-depth knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes, including logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Preferred Industry QSR/Retail/Food vendoring companies like Taj Caterers/ Udan/FMCG.
