Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Vice President of Product to lead our product strategy and drive the development of innovative payment solutions. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior VP of Product will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company and ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers in a rapidly changing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's vision, goals, and market trends. Drive product innovation to maintain our competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the payments industry.
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential and drive excellence in product delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize product initiatives, align on roadmap objectives, and ensure successful product launches. Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, incorporating user feedback and market insights into decision-making processes.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch. Drive the execution of product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the payments industry. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities, potential partnerships, and areas for product enhancement.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, investors, and strategic partners, to communicate product vision, strategy, and performance. Build strong relationships and influence decision-making to drive alignment and support for product initiatives.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance, measure success against strategic objectives, and identify areas for improvement. Implement processes for regular reporting and analysis to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 17+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in driving product innovation and leading high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in the payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment processing technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product plans.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, strategy, and value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.
