Senior Vice President (SVP) - Operations & Sales (SAAS Product)
- Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
- Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Experience Required:
- 10 to 16 years of strong experience in managing operations and sales, particularly in the SAAS product domain.
- Demonstrated expertise in scaling operations, driving growth, and ensuring smooth customer acquisition and retention in the SAAS sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency and high-quality execution.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for SAAS products, focusing on both acquisition and upselling of existing customers.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, mentoring managers and senior leaders across both sales and operations functions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes for optimization, automation, and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, including the COO, on setting strategic direction and key initiatives for the company.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales, operations performance, and key metrics to senior leadership.
- Customer-Centric: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective service delivery and operational excellence.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in SAAS product sales and operations management.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing large teams.
- Excellent understanding of customer success, sales pipeline management, and service delivery.
- Data-driven decision-making, with experience using analytics tools to drive operational and sales success.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Qualification:
- Preferably an MBA or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven track record in scaling and leading high-performing teams in a SAAS environment.
