Senior Vice President - Micro Finance Institution

We are currently hiring for a MD (-)1 level position with a fast growing MFI (Micro Financier Institution) based out of Eastern India. Our client is a decade old, professionally managed institution which is growing at an exponential pace. It is a well-funded institution which has received financing from leading Private Equity players (who currently own more than 90% stake in aggregate) active in the micro finance space. A brief discussion of the role and the ideal candidate is provided herein below:

Experience: Ideally around 18-20 years of experience

Qualification: CA, CFA, Cost Accountant or MBA Finance from a reputed institute

Industry: Exposure in lending is essential

Areas of Expertise: Accounting, fund raising, compliance, structuring, capital raising exposure in IPO will be an added advantage

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Board, the MD and the CEO to lay out the strategic roadmap for the organization.

- Provide Vision and leadership to all support functions within the enterprise

- Closely supervise, the accounting, treasury and compliance functions of the organization.

- Manage relationship with regulators, key investors and other external stake-holders.
